Frown Lines

Description

Frown lines (glabella) are wrinkles that form between the eyebrows. These wrinkles are caused by the contraction of facial muscles that are used in frowning.

There are many ways to treat and conceal frown lines. You can use makeup or creams that contain retinol, peptides, or hyaluronic acid.

Non-surgical treatments include dermal fillers and laser therapy. Dermal fillers can be injected into the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and laser therapy can be used to stimulate collagen production and reduce inflammation around these wrinkles.

The most effective way to treat these lines is to use Botulinum toxin (botox) injections. Botox prevents the muscles from contracting and therefore, reduces the formation of frown lines.
